Hours & Fees
Little Chicos Childcare offers full or part time care Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm throughout the year.
Hours may be flexible to suit individual family needs.
The hourly rate is £5.50 per child, this fee includes snack, drinks and most outings.
Settling in: No Fees – Period prior to start of contract of two days (max of 2 hours per day)
Childminder illness: No fee.
Childminder holidays: Half Fees (up to 5 weeks holidays per year)
Child/Parent illness: Full Fees.
Child holidays: Half Fees
Bank Holidays: Closed / No Fees
I do not normally work on bank holiday however in an emergency or special circumstances this can be considered, fees will be charged at double the normal rate.
Payment can be made by either Bank transfer, Cash, Childcare vouchers – please advice me of the scheme used by you employers and will set up an account if I do not have one.
Deposit
If there is a period between signing the contract and the date the first payment is due I may ask for a deposit (usually 50% of the first payment). If you decide not to take the place after signing the contract the deposit will not be returned.
Retainer Fees
I normally charge a retainer fee to reserve a place for future use by a child. The retainer fee is a proportion of the normal fee (50%) and is to be paid on the same basis (monthly/weekly) as the service to be provided. Without a retainer fee I will not guarantee a place for your child at any time in the future.
